‘India Ne Bachon Ki Tarah Maara’, Reacts Shoaib Akhtar Over Pakistan Defeat

Shoaib Akhtar is struggling to accept Pakistan’s defeat and expressed his frustration over their performance against India in the ODI World Cup. He candidly admitted that India had beaten Pakistan like kids in the match. Pakistan was bowled out for a mere 191 runs, and India secured a dominant seven-wicket victory with almost 20 overs to spare in Ahmedabad.

The former Pakistani fast bowler reserved special praise for Rohit Sharma, who showcased a splendid performance at the top of the batting order. Akhtar expressed his disappointment with Pakistan’s performance and credited Rohit Sharma’s exceptional innings, stating that he humiliated Pakistan’s bowling attack.

Referring to the match, Akhtar said, “Pakistan’s humiliation is in front of us. India ne bachon ki tarah maara (India beat Pakistan like kids). I couldn’t watch it.” He also commented on India’s prospects in the tournament, drawing parallels to India’s World Cup win in 2011.

Akhtar believes that India is on track to repeat history and win the World Cup. He commended India for their outstanding performance and stated that they had not only defeated Pakistan but also demoralized and decimated them. India is scheduled to face Bangladesh on October 19, while Pakistan will play against Australia on October 20 in the ongoing ODI World Cup.
