Yuzvendra Chahal, the perpetually funny leg-spinner as popular for his sense of humour as for his spin, might have just provided fans with the best hint yet about his reported romance with RJ Mahvash. The cricketer made an appearance on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, where he sat down with Gautam Gambhir, Rishabh Pant, and Abhishek Sharma for an evening of teasing, laughter, and surprise confessions.
While the episode was full of light moments, it took a flirtatious turn when Chahal’s personal life – namely the gossip about RJ Mahvash was brought into the limelight.
Sidhu’s Classic Quip Leaves Everyone in Splits
Navjot Singh Sidhu never hesitated in making fun of Chahal. While talking of the spinner’s alleged willingness to switch girlfriends along with teams, Sidhu said sarcastically, “Sawal paida nahi hota ki team badal de. Chalo girlfriend ek ad badal deta hai.” The crowd went into splits, and Kapil Sharma added his own zing: “Aapke time pe Instagram nahi tha, nahi toh aap bhi pakde jaate.”

Teasing didn’t end there. Rishabh Pant chimed in with a sly comment, “He’s free,” on Chahal’s post-breakup status following his breakup with Dhanashree Verma. Chahal, with a knowing grin, just responded: “India jaan chuka hai… chaar mahine pehle,” leaving the door open on the possibility of still being in a relationship despite the rumors.
Mahvash Responds to Critics
While the rumors continue to swirl, RJ Mahvash didn’t stay silent. Facing criticism online from those accusing her of using Chahal’s fame for clout, she clapped back with evidence of her career’s longevity. Sharing clips of past interviews with legends like MS Dhoni and Chris Gayle, Mahvash wrote, “I’ve been in the industry long before these rumours. Stop spreading WhatsApp University facts.”
Romance or Just Rumour?
There was speculation over Chahal and Mahvash after the two were spotted together soon after his breakup with Dhanashree. While Mahvash had previously dismissed the rumors, terming Chahal a friend, his recent words indicate that perhaps there was more to their friendship than they let on.
