With the T20 World Cup 2024 schedule to be announced today, the draw for the tournament has been reportedly released with the quadrennial event set to be played from June onwards.
Fans would get to witness the blockbuster clash of India vs Pakistan as well as the arch rivals have yet again been clubbed together in Group A.
According to The Telegraph report, India is placed in Group A, scheduled to play all their group stage matches in the USA.
Group B includes defending champions England, along with Australia, Scotland, Namibia, and Oman, and their matches are set to take place exclusively in the Caribbean. Group C comprises West Indies facing off against New Zealand, Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea, and Uganda. The final pool includes South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, and Nepal, and uniquely, this group will feature matches in both the US and the West Indies.

Final T20I series before World Cup
With the preparations for the upcoming world cup in full flow, Team India will be playing their final T20I series before the T20 World Cup against Afghanistan. The 3-match T20I series will be played from January 11 and will reportedly feature the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli take part as well with the duo agreeing to be a part of their first white ball encounter since the ODI World Cup.
