New Delhi: The 19th Asian Games 2023 continued for Day 2 in China’s Hangzhou. India 10M Air Rifle Team Win 1st Gold For India. India set a new world record and won the gold medal in the men’s 10 air rifle team event on Monday.
The Indian shooting team included Divyansh Singh Panwar, Rudrankkash Balasaheb Patil and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, who together scored a total of 1893.7 points, which also happens to be a new world record.
Meanwhile, the Indian team in the final 4 men’s rowing event won the bronze medal with a score of 6:10:81. But Balraj Panwar missed out on a medal by finishing fourth in the men’s single sculls final. India also won bronze in the men’s quadruple sculls, behind China and Uzbekistan.
In swimming, Srihari Nataraj qualified for the men’s 50m backstroke finals, after finishing in sixth place in the heats.
All eyes will be on the Indian women’s cricket team, who will take on Sri Lanka in the gold medal match. In addition, we also have mixed team table tennis activities. The men’s and women’s teams were eliminated after their respective defeats on the first day. Men lost to Korea, while Thailand won against women.
