Australia women’s national cricket team achieved a 83-run loss against India women in the third ODI of the three-match series. The Australian team white-washed the Harmanpreet Kaur led side by 3-0. The hosts registered a big total of 298/6 while batting first as Annabel Sutherland top scored with an innings of 110 runs from 95 balls. In reply, the Indian team was wrapped up for 215 runs as Smriti Mandhana smashed a brilliant hundred and played a knock of 105 runs from 109 balls. Mandhana became the leading Indian women batter in the list of most hundreds by an Indian against Australia in ODIs. Mandhana smashed her second century against Australia women’s cricket team.

Australia women’s cricket team started off well when openers Phoebe Litchfield and Georgia Voll added 58 runs for the first wicket. However, Arundhati Reddy struck twice in matter of two runs and dismissed both Litchfield and Voll. Ellyse Perry and Beth Mooney got out for 4 and 10 runs respectively. Australia were 78/4 at one end, when Annabel Sutherland smashed a hundred. Sutherland put up a stand of 96 runs from 107 balls along with Ashleigh Gardner (59) and later added 122 runs from 95 balls with Tahlia McGrath (56).

Chasing down the target, Richa Ghosh got out early and was dismissed for 2 runs from eight balls. However, Smriti Mandhana and Harleen Deol put up a stand of 118 runs from 139 balls for the second wicket. Deol got dismissed for 39 runs from 64 balls and got out. In the end, no other batter apart from Mandhana’s century was able to stay at the crease and the Indian team ended up winning the match.
