Jadeja in awe of Kohli
Jadeja praised Virat’s catch, “I felt good… I always take catches off others’ bowling and when someone takes a good catch in my bowling, it felt good. It was a very good catch, he had to take it low and it was a sharp catch,” Jadeja, who is known for his sensational fielding and catching efforts, told the BCCI after India won 1st ODI.
“He did not get a lot of time. The batter went for a drive and he had less than a second to react. I would say it was a very very good catch. Shubman Gill also took a nice catch. It was also a low catch. On wickets like these, only when the bowlers get the support of the fielders, their confidence will be boosted. These half-chances should be converted into wickets, then only the bowlers will feel confident,” he added.

Kuldeep, Jadeja destroy West Indies batting line-up
Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav took a total of 7 wickets in the match. With this, the pair of left-handers has become the first duo of Indian team to have taken 7 or more wickets in an ODI match.
Kuldeep Yadav said, ‘Fast bowlers gave a good start. It was Mukesh’s debut, he bowled well. When your bowling came, you also got him out quickly. So I got only a few wickets left.
In addition, Ravindra Jadeja said, ‘Similarly the wicket was getting good spin. Being a bowling unit, when a spin bowler starts bowling, the bowler gets an idea of how much the ball is spinning and how much the bounce is. Our only effort was to give less runs because as we batted in the second innings, it seemed very difficult to play.
