South African pacer Kagiso Rabada continues to dismantle batters at one of his favourite grounds, Centurion. The 28-year-old pacer took his 14th five wicket haul in international cricket in the 1st Test against India.
Rabada also completed 500 wickets in international cricket which is a commendable feat considering the pacer’s experience in the field.
Starting with the ever important dismissal of Team India skipper Rohit Sharma at the start of the day, Rabada went onto to pick up star batters Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer as well which saw the Indian team struggle at 107/5 within 31 overs. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has always been a prime target for Kagiso Rabada as this was the 6th time that the Hitman has been dismissed by Rabada in Test cricket.
With Team India gasping for air, Rabada also managed to take tail enders Ravichandran Ashwin and Shardul Thakur as well which eventually took him to the 500-mark on Day 1.
Kagiso Rabada has taken 500 international wickets at the age of just 28.

Seeing the bounce and swing on the day, pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohd Siraj will be looking forward to have a good day on the pitch against Protea batters.
Nandre Burger also starred on his debut with the 28-year-old bagging his two wickets in what is turning out to be a star studded spell from the pacer.
The pacer’s confident display against the likes of experienced cricketers like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli is a sign of good things to come for South Africa.
