Once Sharma departed the crease, then came Tilak Varma and Samson, and started another blazing onslaught. From 73/1, they put on a mind-boggling 210 runs for the second wicket in just 85 balls, playing fearless cricket all through. This took the game to an imposing 283/1 from 20 overs, which turned out to be the fifth-highest total in the history of T20I and the second-largest score that India scored in a month.
Sanju Samson registered his third T20I century and second of the series, leaving 109 from 56 balls, including 6 fours and 9 sixes. Tilak Varma scored a brilliant hundred, reaching 120 from 47 balls with 9 fours and 10 sixes to claim his second successive T20I ton.
Early Wickets By Arshdeep Singh Help India Win

Reeza Hendricks got that one to come in with a value-packed catch by Ravi Bishnoi. Then he had Aiden Markram caught out and after that, Heinrich Klaasen trapped LBW to make him return on a first-ball duck.
At the end of the third over, South Africa was struggling at 10/4, leaving the Proteas with a mountain to climb.
India’s Spin Trio Seal South Africa’s Fate
While Arshdeep caused early damage, India’s spinners continued to tighten the noose around South Africa. Hardik Pandya also contributed with a vital wicket, dismissing Ryan Rickelton.
Tristan Stubbs and David Miller briefly raised the hope by adding 86 runs for the fifth wicket, but that proved to be in vain. Tilak Varma took a scintillating catch off Varun Chakravarthy’s bowling as he sent back Miller, who made 36 from 27 balls.
The Indian spinners—Ravi Bishnoi (1/28) and Axar Patel (2/6)—also picked crucial wickets as South Africa’s batters were left with just to bowl out their hosts for a meager 148 in 18.2 overs.
