Fans have been left in shock by Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj’s brilliance on Day 1 as the 29-year-old went on to produce one of the finest bowling spells of his career, picking a six wickets in the first 9 overs itself.

India restricted the Proteas to a mere 55 in the 1st innings which is their lowest total in Test Cricket since 1932.

Fans appreciated the ‘Miyan Magic’ in Cape Town and expressed their joy on the internet.

South Africa made three alterations to their team, introducing debutant Tristan Stubbs, listed to bat at number four instead of Keegan Petersen. Keshav Maharaj and Lungi Ngidi replaced the injured Temba Bavuma and Gerald Coetzee, respectively.

India included a recovered Ravindra Jadeja, replacing spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin, and seam bowler Mukesh Kumar took the place of Shardul Thakur. However, the star spinning duo of Ashwin and Jadeja weren’t even required by the visitors as the pacers wrapped up South Africa within one session.
