IND vs SA 1st T20I: Shubman Gill, Samson IN, Harshit Rana, Jitesh Sharma Out, India’s likely XI vs South Africa in Cuttack

After suffering from Neck Injury, Shubman Gill is all set to return to the side by starting from the T20I series against South Africa.

Predicted Playing 11 for Team India: After a humiliating whitewash in the Test series, Team India bounced back nicely in the ODI and clinched the series by 2-1. Now, the heads moved to the 5-match T20I series which is getting start from tomorrow (December 8). Both teams will eye for this series for the better combinations and setup ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 which will be played in India.

Shubman Gill and Sanju Samson to play in 1st T20I

After suffering from Neck Injury, Shubman Gill is all set to return to the side by starting from the T20I series against South Africa. The vice-captain will eye for a solid comeback in the game whereas, Sanju Samson will also eye for a comeback after getting dropped from last 2 T20Is in Australia tour. Both Gill and Samson would eye for a statement to show their prowess in the shortest format.

Harshit Rana and Jitesh Sharma to warm bench

With abundance of bowling resources and also with the comeback of Jasprit Bumrah, Harshit Rana will have to sacrifice his place in playing 11 along with Jitesh Sharma.
