Ind vs Nz: In the ongoing first Test of the three-match test series played between India and New Zealand in Bengaluru, India got their first innings folded up for a shocking 46 runs. Interestingly, five Indian batters could not get any runs, which has never been registered in the Test history of Indians.
Only two players crossed the double digits figure which indicates big tactical mistakes done by Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir.

Misjudgment Of Pitch Conditions
The match got off to a delayed start after rain had washed away play on the very first day. Rohit Sharma won the toss but chose to bat first. Considering the conditions, it would have made perfect sense for the team to have bowled first and given the players more time to assess the track. This left unnecessary pressure on Team India, which only added to their batting problems.
Wrong Selection Of Playing XI
Though New Zealand had assembled a potent attack with three pace bowlers, India had selected three spinners. According to the previous patterns of the last three Ranji matches, fast bowlers had picked up the most wickets. After all, Rohit and Gambhir did not think twice about Akash Deep. That proved to be one huge mistake.
Virat Kohli At No.3
Shubman Gill is replaced by Sarfaraz Khan as he is suffering from neck pain. However, the management’s move of sending Virat Kohli to bat at No. 3 has gone wrong since his record while batting at No. 3 is pretty abysmal. His numbers also reflect that he has not fared well with the No. 3 spot Kohli also didn’t contribute much to India as he got dismissed without even opening his account.
