Team India stay on top in the 2nd Test match against England as Day 3 saw India’s Yashasvi Jaiswal and spearhead Jasprit Bumrah own Day 2 as both players mastered their front with bat and ball respectively. Yashasvi Jaiswal started Day 2 with his maiden double century for Team India in what was a resilient knock from the 22-year -old. He became the 3rd youngest Indian batter to achieve the feat in Tests.
As the other batters saw a dip in form on the day, the team was still able to post a good total of 396 in the 1st innings.

Jasprit Bumrah on a roll
Jasprit Bumrah showcased exceptional performance on the second day of the second Test between India and England in Visakhapatnam, securing his 10th 5-wicket haul. His unstoppable form saw him efficiently dislodging stumps during Saturday’s play in Vizag.
Bumrah delivered an unplayable yorker to Ollie Pope and dismissed Joe Root and Ben Stokes, with the England captain’s stumps sent for a cartwheel. Notably, Bumrah achieved the milestone of becoming the fastest Indian pacer to reach 150 Test wickets, achieving this feat in 34 matches, following R Ashwin (29) and Ravindra Jadeja (34). Additionally, he became the second-fastest Asian fast bowler to reach 150 wickets in Test cricket
