Hosts Team India have levelled the Test series to 1-1 after a convincing 106-run victory against England in the 2nd Test in Vizag. History maker Ravichandran Ashwin and pacer Jasprit Bumrah helped his side to register the comeback win, taking 3 scalps each on the day while others too contributed with the ball and defended 398 on Day 4.
The match will also be remembered for Yashasvi Jaiswal who scored his maiden double hundred for India at Tests. Jaiswal is now the 3rd youngest Indian player to have achieved this feat in Test cricket.

Jaiswal’s knock was then carried forward by Shubman Gill who made amends for his dismal Test form with a century on Day 3 which helped India set up a 398 run target for the Three Lions.
With England’s ‘Bazball’ in focus, Brendon McCullum’s side started the chase with an aggressive intent and wanted to complete it while showing their original style of play as well.
Special Comeback By Team India
The comeback victory was a special win by the Indian side who were missing some of their most valuable players in Vizag. With the likes of Mohd Shami, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja missing out from the eleven, the 106-run win was nothing short of a brilliant win on the day.
With 2 exciting matches over, fans will be looking forward to the 3rd Test in Rajkot in what will be another eventful encounter from 15th February.
