IND vs ENG

As Team India takes on defending champions England in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2024 in West Indies, the Men in Blue will have payback on their minds as they look to avenge their 2022 T20 World Cup semi-final defeat against the Three Lions in Guyana this time.

A win would give the side a spot in the final of the quadrennial event where they would face first-time finalists South Africa on June 29th.

IND to bat first vs ENG in Semi-Final Clash

Rohit Sharma lost the coin toss and was put to bat first as the Men in Blue went with the same eleven once again, showing faith in Kuldeep Yadav who was added to the lineup recently and showed promising signs in all matches he has played so far.

The toss had been delayed to due inclement weather in Guyana as the covers had to be taken off and put back on once due to rain. The groundsmen did some excellent work to dry off the outfield so that the semi-final clash could be started as soon as possible.

In case of a washout on the day, it will be Rohit Sharma’s men who will take the final berth because of the side finishing off on the top spot in their Super 8 points table.
