He dominated debutant Shoaib Bashir with a barrage of boundaries, concluding with a powerful six to mark the monumental achievement.

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s incredible feat in Vizag saw fans and players wishing him on the internet and praising the young gun who saved India on a day where other batters failed to make a mark against the Three Lions.

Former England cricketer Kevin Pieterson wished Jaiswal on social media platform ‘X’.

The 23-year-old was also wished by Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar who appreciated his effort for Team India.

Jaiswal’s double century not only highlighted his immense skill but also etched his name in Indian cricket history. Achieving this feat at 22 years and 36 days, he became the third youngest Indian to do so in Test cricket, joining the ranks of Vinod Kambli and Sunil Gavaskar.
