India’s veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has yet again proven his worth in the team by bamboozling the English batters with his skillset in Dharamsala. Playing his 100th test for India, Ashwin continued to so what was second nature for him and picked up wickets of Tom Hartley, Ben Foakes, Jimmy Anderson and Mark Wood in the 5th test to end up with 4 wickets in the 1st innings.
Ravi Ashwin picked a fifer on debut.

Dominating Since Day 1
As if that wasn’t enough for the Test veteran, he then went on to pick up another fifer in England’s 2nd Innings to become the leading wicket taker in the 5-match Test series. Ashwin also etched his name in the record books one more time by being the first player to bag a fifer on both his Indian debut and on his 100th Test match.
In what was a 400th win for Team India on home soil, Ashwin dismissed the term ‘Bazball’ for fans and pundits in what was a dominant display by the ball in Dharamsala.
