Team IND Managed To Post 196/5 vs BAN

Put to bat first, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli started well this time and gave India a solid start in the powerplay. While Rohit Sharma had to depart from a short spell of just 23 runs, it was Virat Kohli who shrugged off his past performances and scored a well-made 37 runs on the day.

Rishabh Pant also came in and powered the innings with his fiery 24-ball 36. Suryakumar Yadav was also dismissed cheaply after hitting a six on the very first delivery he faced.

Tansim Hasan Sakib led the bowling lineup with 2 wickets on the day as they tried to restrict Team India to a less challenging total to get their first win in the Super 8 on the day.

In the end, it was Hardik Pandya who ended up as the top scorer on the night with 50* runs as the Men in Blue posted a challenging 196/5 in their 20 overs to maintain their 100% record in the T20 World Cup 2024.
