IND vs BAN, 2nd T20I: India won the game over Bangladesh by a whopping 86 runs in New Delhi. This means that with one more match to go in the T20I three-match series, India sealed a 2-0 victory against Bangladesh. Nitish Reddy was the showstopper as he turned in an incredible all-round performance which suggested that this is the biggest win margin India has achieved over Bangladesh.

Terrific Batting Performance
India’s batting total was impressive at 221 only because of the majestic display of Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh for the fourth wicket with a stunning partnership of 108 runs. India lost three quick wickets in PowerPlay but soon made it back to be ahead of the game.
Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav quickly departed. The pitch was rather encouraging to the bowlers initially. Then came yet another brief innings stint for Abhishek Sharma too, and India was still at 45 runs, going in an awkward spot.
Nitish And Rinku Partnership
Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy steadied the ship, quickly attacking the spinners. Rinku signaled his intent with a slog-sweep six off leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, while Nitish matched it with big hits. It all changed in the 10th over when Rishad was hit for three sixes and a four as they overturned into a 24-run one.
Nitish reached his first international fifty in just 27 balls, as the partnership continued to flourish, and Nitish scored 74 off 34 deliveries before falling to a slower ball from Mustafizur Rahman. Rinku contributed significantly with a blistering fifty off 26 balls, helping propel India past the 200-run mark.
Bangladesh’s Struggle In The Chase
Bangladesh crumbled under pressure right away, losing wickets at regular intervals. Though the innings provided early resistance through Parvez Hossain Emon, who struck three boundaries off the first over, the innings collapsed shortly after. Arshdeep Singh struck a timely wicket in the second over while Washington Sundar and the spinners, Varun Chakaravarthy and Abhishek Sharma, further tattered the Bangladeshi batting lineup.
Bangladesh somehow lost its way quite quickly to 3 for 6 in merely 14 deliveries, and from there, it was not an easy thing to come back under the hailstorm of bowling from India. But Mahmudullah and Mehidy Hasan managed to somehow halt the innings losing the balance for a little while before the latter’s dismissal also ended all hope of recovery.
Brief Scores: India 221/9 (Nitish Reddy 74, Rinku Singh 53; Rishad Hossain 3-55) beat Bangladesh 135/9 (Mahmudullah 41; Varun Chakravarthy 2-19) by 86 runs.
