Then India had made 100 runs in 12.2 overs. India had then broken Sri Lanka’s record. Sri Lanka had made the record of scoring the fastest 100 runs against Bangladesh in 13.1 overs in the year 2001.

Batting first in this match, Bangladesh cricket team scored 233 runs. In response to which the Indian team made a great start in their first innings. Rohit Sharma batted in T-20 style. He scored 23 runs in 11 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 1 four. After this Yashasvi Jaiswal did wonders. He scored a quick half-century. Jaiswal played an innings of 72 runs in 51 balls. During this, he smashed 2 sixes in 12 balls.
