New Delhi: India’s former captain Virat Kohli has accumulated another big feat under his belt. Kohli has now become the fastest batter to score 25,000 runs in International cricket on Sunday as soon as he scored 12 runs in India’s second innings against Australia.
The star batter came on the crease after the dismissal of captain Rohit Sharma. Kohli, then shook hands with Cheteshwar Pujara in the India to chase of 115.

Kohli breaks Sachin’s record
It took as many as 549 international innings to Kohli to score 25,000 runs. Meanwhile, the batting legend Sachin Tendulkar had achieved this feat in 577 innings.
The 34-year-old batter now has surpassed Sachin Tendulkar. Kohli needed to score 52 runs to move ahead of Tendulkar. Virat Kohli then scored 44 runs in the first innings and 20 runs in the second innings. Thus, created the history.

India wins 2nd Test match
In the first Test match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy at VCA stadium in Nagpur, Kohli was dismissed for 12 runs. India then defeated Australia and took the lead of 1-0.
In the present scenario, India has the lead of 2-0 who has also retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Ravindra Jadeja finished with career-best figures of 7 for 42, and he was adjusted as the player of the match.
