India vs Australia 4th T20 Match Report: Team India secured an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match T20 series against Australia. In the match held at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur on December 1st (Friday), India clinched victory over Australia by 20 runs. The final showdown between the teams will take place on December 3 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Suryakumar Yadav's leadership led India to a splendid triumph, avenging their defeat against Australia in the Cricket World Cup 2023 final. It's noteworthy that India suffered a six-wicket loss to Australia in the Cricket World Cup final at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19, missing out on the chance to become world champions for the third time.

India's Record-breaking Triumph

The fourth T20 victory also etched a significant record in India's cricket history. India has now secured the most T20 International victories, surpassing Pakistan's record. Out of 226 T20 International matches, Pakistan has won 135, while India, in 213 matches, boasts 136 victories, elevating them to the top position. Following closely, New Zealand ranks third with 102 wins out of 200 T20 matches, trailed by Australia and South Africa at 95 victories each.

Rinku's Batting Brilliance

In the fourth T20 match, batting first after losing the toss, India posted 174 runs for nine wickets. Rinku Singh emerged as the top scorer for India, notching up 46 runs, smashing four fours and two sixes in his brisk 28-ball innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal contributed 37 runs, while Rituraj Gaikwad added 32. Jitesh Sharma's powerful innings of 35 runs off 19 balls, including three sixes and one four, also bolstered India's total. However, India suffered a late collapse, losing their last five wickets for just eight runs. Ben Dwarshuis claimed three wickets for Australia, with Tanveer Sangha and Jason Behrendorff each grabbing two.

Akshar Patel's Spin Magic

Chasing a target of 175 runs, the Australian team managed only 154 runs for seven wickets. Captain Matthew Wade top-scored with an unbeaten 36 runs, including two fours and two sixes. Travis Head contributed 31 runs, and Matthew Short added 22. Akshar Patel led India's bowling attack, claiming three wickets for a mere 16 runs in his four overs. Deepak Chahar secured two successes, while Ravi Bishnoi clinched one. Akshar Patel earned the 'Player of the Match' title for his outstanding performance.
