Australian batter Steve Smith showcased his class yet again during the IND vs AUS 4th Test being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Smith smashed his 34th Test hundred during the Boxing Day Test and reached the three-figure mark in just 167 balls. The latter has been one of the most promising batters in Test cricket and has maintained his spot for around a decade now. He will want to continue his approach and convert his ton into a daddy hundred.

Steve Smith also registered an elite record during the IND vs AUS 4th Test. Smith registered his 11th ton against India in Test cricket and became the leading hundred scorer against the Indian team in Test cricket. Smith joined the likes of Sir Vivian Richards, Gary Sobers and others on the list. Smith took over England batter Joe Root who is currently sitting in the second spot with ten centuries. Getting back to the IND vs AUS 4th Test, the Aussies ended up scoring over hundred runs in the first session on Day 2 in Melbourne. Australia ended up extending their first innings score to 454/7 and will hope to add more runs as they can in the second session.
