On Day 2 of the Perth Test between India and Australia, a moment of cheeky banter transpired between Marnus Labuschagne and Yashasvi Jaiswal. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
The incident happened in the 44th over of India’s second innings off Mitchell Marsh’s bowling. Jaiswal played a shot and tried to steal a single but Labuschagne who was fielding at Point, quickly got to the ball and tried to scare the Indian batter in an attempt to run him out. Jaiswal rushed back towards the batting crease but stopped inches before it, luring Labuschagne to run him out. A hilarious banter unfolded and both players enjoyed the light moment.
