India’s fast bowlers delivered a fiery performance taking all 10 wickets and the visitors got a 46-run lead. Stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah scalped five wickets while Mohammed Siraj and Harshit Rana took two and three wickets respectively.
Bumrah missed out on a six-fer as wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant missed Josh Hazlewood’s catch in the 37th over of Australia’s innings. Bumrah’s short of a length delivery swung away touching the edge of Hazlewood’s bat but a diving Pant failed to catch the opportunity.
