New Delhi: KL Rahul smashed 75 not out while Ravindra Jadeja scored unbeaten 45 as India chased down the target of 189 runs against Australia in 39.5 overs to win the first One Day International (ODI) by wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Friday (March 17).

India went four down just outside of the powerplay and then lost Hardik Pandya at 83. The slow burner 108-run stand between KL Rahul (75 off 91) and Ravindra Jadeja (45 off 69) took them out. India with the 1-0 lead in the three match series.
