New Delhi: After Team India trashed Australia in four matches Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) Test series by 2-1. Now, India and Australia will face each other in the One Day International (ODI) series that will commence from March 17 to March 22.
The last Test match at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad ended in a draw. Meanwhile, New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka in the first Test match of two matches series at Christchurch.
With this, India made their entry in the World test Championship (WTC) opposite Australia. Both teams will lock horns at The Oval in London from June 7.
Hardik to lead Team India in first ODI
The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the squad for the three matches ODI series. According to BCCI released statement, India’s captain Rohit Sharma will miss the first match of the ODI series due to his personal commitment. In Sharma’s absence, Hardik Pandya will lead the Men in Blue.
Match venues, dates
The three ODI matches will start on March 17 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai whereas, Visakhapatnam will host the second ODI match that will be played on March 19. The third and final ODI will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, on March 22.

Star Sports is the official broadcaster of the IND vs AUS ODI series in India. Hence, Star Sports channels will present the live telecast of the IND vs AUS ODI series in India. Disney+ Hotstar app and website will present the live streaming of the match.
