The India national cricket team is all set to take on Australia in the second IND vs AUS Test of the five-match series at the Adelaide Oval ground in Adelaide. Team India will be walking into the IND vs AUS 2nd Test beginning from December 6 with a brilliant momentum. The Indian team defeated Australia in the first Test of the series by a huge margin of 295 runs. However, Rohit Sharma led side doesn’t have sweet memories of playing a day-night Test match in Adelaide. The last time Team India played a day-night Test in Adelaide was in 2021, and got blown away for 36 runs in the second innings of the match. This is currently Team India’s lowest ever total in a single Test inning.
Can Team India Carry On Win Momentum In Adelaide?
Team India suffered a brutal hammering at the hands of New Zealand just ahead of the Australian tour. The Indian team wasn’t favourites to win the first Test match in Perth but performed brilliantly and defied all the odds. The Jasprit Bumrah led side completely outplayed the Australian batting lineup and later registered a brilliant second innings total. Indian batters Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli slammed hundreds whereas Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Harshit Rana shared 13 wickets between each other.

The Australian team will be under a lot of pressure when they play against India in the second Test in Adelaide. Ace pacer Josh Hazlewood has already been ruled out of the second Test whereas Mitchell Marsh is also facing injury concerns. On the other hand, there have also been some allegations of groupings in the team setup. The Indian team will be playing against Prime Minister’s XI in a practice day and night match to prepare for the Adelaide Test from November 30 to December 2.
