Team India is playing against Australia in the second Test of the five-match series at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. The Indian team was wrapped up for a score of 180 runs in the first innings wherein Australian pacer Mitchell Starc picked up a six wicket haul and broke the back-bone of the Indian batting lineup. The hosts will look forward to put up a decent batting approach and put the pressure once again on the visitors. Adelaide is known to be among the most beautiful venues in the world and is also the place where Australia play all their day-night Tests. A moment which is mostly seen in Asian countries occurred at the Adelaide Oval. During the match, accidently, the floodlights turned off and darkness had spread all across the field. The video and glimpses for the same went viral on the social media.

The Indian team didn’t have a great start to the Day 1 of IND vs AUS 2nd Test as Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed for a golden duck by Mitchell Starc. The Indian batter was caught in front and departed without troubling the scorers. On the other hand, after the first wicket fell, Indian batters KL Rahul and Shubman Gill put up a decent partnership and tried to help the Indian team escape from early trouble. Both the players were batting well as soon as Mitchell Starc got rid of Rahul and Virat Kohli. Gill also suffered a lapse of confidence and had to walk back after being trapped by Scott Boland and was followed by Rohit Sharma.
Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy tried to play some brave shots and took on the Australian bowlers. In the end, Mitchell Starc dismissed him for 42 runs and it brought an end to Team India’s first innings. The Indian team will now have to perform as they did in Perth.
