IND vs AFG WC 2023: India has defeated Afghanistan in the tenth match of the World Cup 2023. With this victory, India has won back to back World Cup matches. Captain Rohit Sharma has played a fireworks innings for India. Rohit has played an inning of 131 runs in just 84 balls. Apart from this, Virat Kohli has also played a brilliant innings. India has won this match by 8 wickets. However, Afghanistan has lost in both the matches.

This match between India vs Afghanistan was played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Initially it seemed that Afghanistan had taken the right decision with a strong bowling like India’s.

Afghanistan scored 272 runs after 50 overs of play and set a target of 273 runs for India. India’s bowler Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc with his ball. Bumrah has taken 4 wickets for just 39 runs in 10 overs.

After this, captain Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, who came to open for India, started hitting sixes from the Afghan bowlers from the very first over. Ishan Kishan also performed brilliantly in the match and played an inning of 47 runs in 47 balls.
