Team IND Pick Kuldeep Yadav In The XI vs AFG
Playing at a pitch that has experienced two of the three 200+ totals this year must be exciting for the batters as they look to put their best foot forward going into the business end of the tournament.
Rohit Sharma announced that Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav gets a nod for the first Super 8 tie as Mohd Siraj has been rested for the game in Barbados. Kuldeep Yadav might be a good pick on the pitch which has been seen to help the bowlers more effectively in matches so far.
Team India came into the Super 8 with an unbeaten record against their opponents after the group stage, including a morale-boosting victory against arch-rivals Pakistan in New York.
Fans would be looking forward to Indian star batter Virat Kohli scoring some runs for the Men in Blue as the talisman hasn’t been able to play his regular cricket at a challenging pitch like that of New York.
Rohit Sharma on the other hand has had a mixed campaign so far with one half century in his bag in the stournament.
