WWE RAW’s episode tonight is a great one since it marks the beginning of John Cena’s last week as an in-ring performer. The 17-time World Champion will have his last match against Gunther on Saturday Night’s Main Event and then retire. The Ring General won the ‘Last Time is Now’ tournament last Friday night and gained the opportunity to face Cena in his last match. He was the first one to show up at the venue tonight, and he talked about his match that is coming up.

Gunther sends a bold message to John Cena following his SmackDown victory
This year, Gunther has officially retired WWE Hall of Fame as Goldberg and is now targeting Cena as the next one who will be put in his name. After defeating LA Knight on SmackDown, he even made a daring proclamation about his bout with the past Intercontinental titleholder. The Austrian wrestler then stormed the ring and seemed to pay homage to John Cena tonight.
Gunther doubles down on bold claim
He said that Cena was the biggest sports entertainer in history, but asserted that he is the best wrestler in history. He proceeded to even more disgrace the 17-time World Champion by repeating what he had earlier said on SmackDown. He stated that he would be the first man to break Cena’s spirit and make sure that he ‘gives up’ in his final WWE match.
