“Jawans are our pride not because of the war but what they do day in and day out. We are here in peace for them,” Ganguly added.
Why Is IPL 2025 Suspended
The BCCI (Board of Control Cricket In India) has suspended the ongoing 18th edition of IPL for seven days due to the perpetual conflict between India and Pakistan. This decision was made after PBKS match against DC was cancelled mid game at HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala due to ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan and the audience were asked to leave the stadium immediately after blackout.
