Ancelotti Remains Hopeful For Mbappé’s Recovery
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti believes despite the setback, Mbappé will likely recover for Intercontinental Cup final next week. The match is set to take place on December 18, where Madrid faces either Pachuca or Al Ahly in Qatar. “We will see if he can play without taking any (injury) risks,” he observed. “He will travel because we think he can recover from the injury,” he added as quoted by ESPN India.

Mbappé suffered the injury in his 50th Champions League goal in the 3-2 win over Atalanta on Tuesday. It was after he had gone on to score. In the match, he made way for another player with the injury. Ancelotti said it is almost impossible to trace the beginning of injuries: “It’s difficult to say where they (injuries) come from.”
