The flight has become the most-tracked on the flightradar website following its departure. The Indian team is scheduled to land in Delhi at around 6:00 am on Thursday morning, July 4th. Upon arrival, the team will have a busy schedule, starting with a visit to Prime Minister Modi’s residence at 9:30 AM. After this meeting, they will take another chartered flight to Mumbai, where they will travel from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport to the Wankhede Stadium. There, a 1 km long bus parade will lead them to the iconic stadium for a brief presentation where Rohit will hand over the T20 World Cup trophy to BCCI secretary Jay Shah.

The team had been stranded in Barbados following their T20 World Cup victory due to Hurricane Beryl, which caused significant disruption in the Caribbean islands. After their win on June 29th at the Kensington Oval, Barbados, they were advised to remain in their hotel. With the weather improving, a special chartered flight was arranged to bring the team and the Indian journalists stuck in Barbados back home.
