Klaasen Is SRH’s First Choice

Heinrich Klaasen’s performance was strong while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024. Seeing Klaasen’s ability, Hyderabad has decided to retain him. According to an ESPN Cricinfo report, Klaasen is SRH’s first choice and they are ready to spend Rs 23 crore for him. The Hyderabad team wants to retain Pat Cummins as the second player.

SRH is planning to retain Cummins for 18 crores. Hyderabad will play its third bet on Abhishek Sharma, who made a big impact with the bat last season, and the team has decided to retain him for 14 crores.

Head-Nitish Will Also Be Retained

The Sunrisers Hyderabad team also wants to retain Australian openers Travis Head and Nitish Reddy. Head’s performance was tremendous last season. The Kangaroo opener scored 567 runs in 15 matches played in IPL 2024 at a strike rate of 191.55. Head wreaked havoc with the bat and a century also came from his bat. At the same time, Head also scored 5 fifties.

On the other hand, Nitish Reddy, who recently made his debut for Team India, also performed well for Hyderabad. For SRH, Nitish scored 303 runs in the 17th season of the Indian Premier League at a strike rate of 142, while also taking three wickets.
