Shubman Gill is a young batter of all three formats of Team India. So far, many unforgettable innings have been played by him for India. The Indian team is all set to tour Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. This series is going to be of immense importance for both countries as both teams are going to play the World Test Championship Final in 2025. However, before the said series, opener Travis Head has given excellent praise to Shubman Gill. While talking to Star Sports, he said, ‘Shubman Gill is a superstar. He has played some great innings. His batting against spin is excellent. He is a great player.‘

Part Of The Bangladesh Series
The Indian team is ready to host a 2-test match series against Bangladesh on home soil from September 19. Gill has also managed to get a place in the Indian team in the squad for the first match. After the Test series, a 3-match T20 series will be played between India and Bangladesh from October 6. However, Shubman Gill will not play in this series. He will be provided rest to cope with the workload, a BCCI source told PTI. Gill had led the Indian team in the 5-match T20 series played against Zimbabwe. Under his captaincy, India won the series 4-1.

So far, Gill has played 25 Test matches for India and scored 1492 runs at an average of 35.52. Apart from this, Gill has scored 2328 runs in 47 ODIs at an average of 58.20. In 21 T20 matches, he has scored 578 runs at an average of 30.42.
