How WACA Destroyed England?
Perth has always been famous for the iconic matches played at the Western Australia Cricket Association (WACA) stadium. The most memorable match which is very much in the minds of cricket fans was the Australia vs England Ashes clash back in 2013-14. There were wide cracks at various places of the surface, it brought out the brutal version of Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson. While the left-arm pacer ate the whole English batting lineup throughout the series but the Perth match played a major role which almost destroyed Test careers of Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen and Ian Bell. For any batter the WACA surface was like hell, batters such as Shane Watson, Ben Stokes, Steve Smith and David Warner ended up scoring daunting hundreds. It also tells that if any batter wills to stay at the crease and score runs, he will surely succeed in it. In the end, Mitchell Johnson along with his partner Ryan Harris hunted the English batters which helped the Aussies win the match by 150 runs.
