Manchester United defender Harry Maguire will not be able to drive his car for the next 54 days and has been fined for overspeeding for three consecutive days. Maguire has been ordered to pay 1052 pounds which is USD 1299. Maguire was recorded on camera when he was driving his Range Rover at 85 mph and exceeded the limit of 50 mph speed limit. The 31-year-old England footballer was coming out of a tunnel on Wilmslow Road under the runway of the Manchester Airport. Maguire was found guilty of the offense on October 2 at Bolton Magistrates’ CourtBolton Magistrates’ Court, which heard on Wednesday.

Harry Maguire Fined For Overspeeding
Harry Maguire’s lawyer Solicitor Gwyn Lewis appeared on behalf of the Manchester United defender and accepted the office. During the hearing Maguire’s lawyer said, “Of course the speed is wholly excessive and I fully accept that.” The court did the hearing on an offense that was committed in March, Maguire already had three penalty points on his driving license. On March 7, 2024, two days after when Harry Maguire was found overspeeding again he already had three penalty points on his driving license.

“He was offered a speed awareness course but unfortunately because he was away from this country in the summer he wasn’t able to take up the course”, Lewis said.
