India’s versatile all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, is vigorously training in preparation for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season. Pandya has been sidelined from cricket since the middle of the 2023 ODI World Cup due to an ankle injury sustained when he slipped during a match against Bangladesh, forcing him to withdraw from the tournament.
Subsequently, Pandya remained out of action and was not included in the squad for the South Africa tour. He’s also been omitted from the T20I series against Afghanistan, with Rohit Sharma assuming captaincy for the Indian team. It’s anticipated that Pandya will mark his return to competitive cricket during the Indian Premier League 2024.
The all-rounder shared a video of his intense workout session on social media, demonstrating various exercises. He captioned the training video “Only one direction to go, forward ✌️🦾”
Hardik Pandya is set to represent the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming 2024 Indian Premier League season.
