Brett Lee was one of the most prolific fast bowlers ever produced in cricket. With the scorching pace and electricity on-field, he took cricketing fans by storm for over a decade as Australia’s fourth-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket with 310 wickets in 76 matches.

In his early Tests, he started with much flair taking 42 wickets in seven Tests, but his further progress was affected due to injuries to his elbow and ankle. In 2009, he retired from Test cricket due to his decision to try and prolong his career in one-day and T20 cricket because he was going to miss the Ashes series in 2009 due to a side strain.

Then, in 2012, Lee resigned from all forms of international cricket. Although Lee’s Test cricket days were short and he wouldn’t be remembered as a great Test cricketer, he certainly had the pace and personality that could make him a legend.
