GT’s IPL 2026 Retention: With the IPL 2026 retention deadline coming up, Gujarat Titans let Sherfane Rutherford head over to Mumbai Indians. That’s not all. On Saturday, they also parted ways with Gerald Coetzee, the South African pace-bowling all-rounder, and Dasun Shanaka, the former Sri Lanka skipper.

A few younger players like Karim Jannat, who never really got a chance to shine thanks to teenage star Vaibhav Suryavanshi also Kulwant Khejroliya and Mahipal Lomror, are out too. Clearly, GT is shaking things up before the new season.
