Brevis was brilliant against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium, hitting 50 runs in no more than 19 balls. By hitting his fifty in just 16 balls, he equaled Moeen Ali’s and Ajinkya Rahane’s team record for the fastest CSK half-century and surpassed former team leaders MS Dhoni (20 balls) and Ravindra Jadeja (21 balls). The only person with a fastest fifty on Indian soil is Suresh Raina, for the 2014 game, when he did it in 16 balls.
