Hotstar, the official ICC event broadcaster for India, will stream the 2024 T20 World Cup at no cost. The prestigious tournament is slated to kick off on June 2, with the inaugural match featuring the USA against Canada at Grand Prairie Stadium.
India’s campaign will commence on June 5 against Ireland, held at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in the USA. Rohit Sharma’s team will exclusively play all their matches in the USA, including a highly anticipated encounter against arch-rivals Pakistan on June 9, 2024, at the same venue.

Rohit Sharma is set to lead the Indian squad in this significant event, with Hardik Pandya serving as his deputy. This arrangement underscores the growing significance of T20 cricket on the global stage and the enthusiasm surrounding India’s participation in the tournament.
Will The Drought End?
With Team India still looking to break their long running ICC trophy drought, the disappointing ending in last year’s ODI World Cup 2023 will still be fresh in their minds and the Men in Blue will be hoping to put an end to the streak pretty soon when they travel overseas for the quadrennial event. Rohit Sharma and co. would just hope for a fully fit squad ahead of the event. With the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) presenting a tough challenge for players to manage their workload in a busy domestic season, players will be taking care of their recoveries ahead of the event as well.
