According to RevSportz, The move comes in light of recent remarks made by Doull regarding Eden’s pitch curator, Sujan Mukherjee. Doull from New Zealand, speaking on a digital platform, suggested that KKR should consider shifting base if Mukherjee continues to “remain obstinate” about pitch preparation.

However, the CAB has stood firmly behind Mukherjee, stating that he has done nothing wrong and is strictly following the BCCI rulebook – which clearly outlines that franchises have no say in the nature of the pitch. Mukherjee is said to be preparing the wicket in line with the official guidelines. While the BCCI is yet to issue a formal response.
