Seventeen years later, just days before the Indian team became champion for the second time, Senior Pathan debuted in politics. Even though he played 57 ODIs and 22 T20 games for India, Yusuf Pathan never represented the country after 2012. He finally hung up his boots in February 2021. The player is pretty involved in activities related to cricket, often playing in retired cricketers’ leagues.
