Aviniash Sable's roots trace back to his birth on September 13 1994 in Mandwa, a village in Maharashtra's Beed district. Raised in a farming household he imbibed the essence of work from an early age. Hailing from a background young Avinash braved 6 kilometer walks to school due to the absence of transportation facilities in his village. During his years pursuing sports as a career seemed improbable for Avinash. To support his family financially he labored at a brick kiln. Assisted in activities. Following completion of his 12th grade education, he enlisted in the Indian Army. Became part of the 5 Mahar Regiment. His military service exposed him to diverse terrains. Avinash's Breakthrough in 2015

In 2015, Avinash's life changed when he joined the Army's athletics program. He was soon selected for cross-country competitions, where his talent was quickly noticed. From then on, he focused on athletics and worked hard to succeed. In 2018 an ankle injury sidelined Avinash and forced him to sit out the Asian Games. Undeterred, by this setback. He clinched the gold medal in the 3000 meter steeplechase, at the 2023 Asian Games clocking in at 8;19.53. Recently he achieved a national record in the Diamond League with a time of 8;09.91, in the same event surpassing his previous best 8:11.20.
