Rafael Nadal had a notable spectator during his first-round match at the French Open 2024, as World No. 1 and longtime rival Novak Djokovic watched from the stands. Joining Djokovic were Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek, who also came to see Nadal in action against Alexander Zverev.
This match marked Nadal’s return to Grand Slam tennis this year, as an injury had sidelined him from the Australian Open. Due to his low ranking, Nadal entered the tournament unseeded and faced a challenging draw.
