In a telephonic conversation with News24, DDCA director Shyam Sharma said that in the Delhi Ranji match against Railways, entry for about 10,000 spectators would be free. This special arrangement by the DDCA is because India’s batting maestro Virat Kohli will be playing for Delhi after over 12 years.
“With Virat Kohli returning to play for Delhi after a long time, what special preparations has DDCA made?” News24 asked.
” Virat Kohli is not just Delhi’s pride but a national icon. Due to international cricket commitments, he couldn’t play domestic cricket for Delhi. Now, for his upcoming Ranji Trophy match, DDCA has made special arrangements.” Sharma said.
