Michael Clarke Expresses Concern About Mumbai Indians’ Prospects
Former Australian cricketer Michael Clarke expressed his concerns about Mumbai Indians’ prospects with Bumrah missing the early matches of the IPL. Speaking on the Beyond23 Cricket Podcast, he said:
“I’m just worried about Bumrah. He hasn’t played any cricket, and he won’t be there from the start of the tournament, so he probably won’t be at his best in the first game. I know he’s unpredictable and can take five wickets, but I think as the tournament progresses, he will get better. I don’t know right now. If Bumrah isn’t there, it’s going to be extremely difficult for Mumbai.”
Mahela Jayawardene Provides Update on Bumrah’s Fitness

“He gives us a different element to try things out, so we will experiment in the early part of the season.”
