Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw is currently undergoing a rough phase in his life. Shaw was among the most aspiring cricketers ever since his arrival at the big stage. The latter won the U19 World Cup in 2018 whereas smashed a hundred on his Test debut. However, in the present time, the latter went unsold in the Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction whereas was also dropped from Mumbai’s Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 squad. Shaw shared a cryptic post on his official Instagram story following being axed from Mumbai’s Vijay Hazare Trophy squad. The right-handed Indian batter shared his records on Instagram story and stated that what else does he has to make a comeback. In reply to Prithvi Shaw’s cryptic Instagram story, an MCA official targeted Shaw and added that the Indian batter is himself responsible for his current downfall.

While, in the present time nothing seem to be going right for Prithvi Shaw, former Indian selector Jatin Paranjape lashed out at Mumbai Cricket Association for their treatment towards Shaw. While replying to a post on ‘X’, Paranjape stated that such loose comments from MCA are unfortunate and are in no mood to help out Shaw with his situation. The tweet read, “Such loose comments from sources within the MCA is truly unfortunate. Looks like they are not interested in helping Shaw out. This will definitely be his last season as a Mumbai player.”

Prithvi Shaw has been among those batters who has scored a lot of runs in domestic cricket and the Indian Premier League. However, there were some times when he became unfortunate and got injured.
